6 Resolutions for the New Year

My, I’m glad that this year is over. Despite the Political Tsunami on March 8, we see the repeat of many issues. As a new year is dawning tomorrow, according to the current calendar, we tend to take stocks of our lives and make New Year resolutions. I made mine in a minute. Just cut and paste last year’s.

Allow me to highlight the repeat of events and issues and how this can guide us in making resolutions for better years ahead.

Resolution #1
Never go back to the same hotel room for an affair. Come on, the first step towards building a long lasting extra-marital relationship is not to leave tracks. For someone to place a hidden camera in a hotel room means that you’re too predictable.

Anyway, good show. Looks like, the affair wasn’t the only thing that is, ehm, long lasting. Bravo.

Resolution #2
Don’t go near a boy if you have been jailed for sodomy charges. History repeats itself and more so in Malaysia. Luckily, the mattress is not featured this time. Be smart a bit lah. We Malaysians can accept boy-girl but not girl-pengkid or boy-boy. In fact, boy-girl scandals are not really an issue. Please refer to Resolution #1.

Resolution #3
Do not bring children to political events, unless they’re Malay kids. You know-lah, our policemen are kinda racists. They are only very keen to protect non-Malay children if they come for peaceful anti-ISA or cycling events. As for the Malays seeking to defend and protect their rights, it can be a family event.

Resolution #4
Condemn Israel. Protest in front of U.S. embassy. Burn their flags. Make sure you use original Israeli flags. Go blog and tell the world how cruel Israel is and how the Palestinians have suffered for so long. Keep doing it. Call for another intifada. Let the violent cycles continue. Whatever, you do – don’t seek for a sustainable peace agreement. Do not pray for peace in the Middle East. It would be bad for the West’s weaponry industry and the Arab’s petroleum industry.

Resolution #5
Do not learn a new language.
Be proud of your mother tongue and your race. Learning English is a waste of time.

Resolution #6
Visit Mongolia.
Heard that the women are pretty. Need to go there since according to the Immigration Department, no Mongolian women have ever visited us. I believe the experience would blow you away.

Have a Happy New Year!!

Hamas succeeds agains !! Top Five Reasons.

Israel warns Gaza blitz could last weeks

Victory to Hamas!

Malaysiakini reported that Israel's Defence Minister Ehud Barak, who has described the bombardment as an "all-out war" against Hamas, has repeatedly warned that he is ready to send ground troops into Gaza.

Congratulations to Hamas! Another victory is at hand. Israel is so predictable. There they go again. Another round of disproportionate military action for the muslims to jump up and down.

New Year cheer for them. Bring out the DIDA* paraphernalia. Let's celebrate the new year with our favourite chants "Death to Israel, Death to America*". DIDA is such a major industry. Flag burning, effigy burning, and random killing. Oh, what joy.

Here's the Top Five Reasons Why Hamas launched the rockets to Israel over the past two weeks.

Reason #1: The Economy

The last time they did something, the world pledged $7.7 billion. Thus, launching rockets has been the key earnings driver for the Palestinian economy. It's halal, since they are launching them towards the Jews. Come on, it's a lot easier than any other industry like farming or trading.

Perhaps, Hamas was concerned that the major donor countries, like U.S. might slip further down in global recession and aid would be trickling down. Thus, the moment the truce is over, Allahu Akhbar. Let's grease the gravy train.

According to Wikipedia, :In December 2007, during the Paris Donor Conference, which followed the Annapolis Conference, the international community pledged over $7.7 billion for 2008–2010 in support of the Palestinian Reform and Development Program (PRDP). Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip receive one of the highest levels of aid in the world. The entities that provide aid to the Palestinians are categorized into seven groups: the Arab nations, the European Union, the United States, Japan, international institutions (including agencies of the UN system), European countries, and other nations.

Let's wait and see how much money they would be raising this time round. Their GDP depends on it.

Thus, there is no incentive to solve the Palestinian plight. They must sacrifice for the benefit of the muslim world by remaining the oppressed people.

Reason #2
: Recruitment drive

With a new U.S. president that promised change could be a threat to the Jihad Industry. Withdrawal from Iraq and possibly Afghanistan would not bode too well for recruiting newer jihadists.

Thus, it's timely to boost recruitment by rekindling the old flame. The Palestinian issue works like magic. Many more will volunteer their lives after this event.

Thus, there is no incentive to solve the Palestinian plight. They must sacrifice for the benefit of the muslim world by remaining the oppressed people.

Reason #3 Crude Oil Prices

Crude oil prices have fallen down to below $35 per barrel. Thus, this "war" is excellent news. Once again, the oil exporting nations, especially the arab nations have rejoiced when Hamas lobbed rockets accross the Gaza Strip.

They can expect an improved Quarter 1 2009 oil revenue. If Israel prolonged the attack to weeks, this would enrich the arab nations.

Thus, there is no incentive to solve the Palestinian plight. They must sacrifice for the benefit of the muslim world by remaining the oppressed people.

Reason #4 Organisational Structure

Leadership in Hamas is precarious. With so many ambitious warriors within their ranks, sucession planning and promotion are always complex. Thus, with one swift retaliation from Israel, the organisation is able to please many with quick promotion to senior leadership.

This is necessary to prevent internal strife and possibly mutiny within their own ranks. That's what happened when truce last too long.

Reason #5 Pallywood

The Pallywood industry needs a boost. The Palestinian people must appear to suffer due to the oppressive Zionists and not due to their lack of industry. Unlike Vietnammese and Koreans who have managed to develop their nations despite being bombed to kingdom come by the U.S. Army, the Palestinians receive aid from all around the world. The secret is in the "Pallywood" movie productions.

Thus, there is no incentive to solve the Palestinian plight. They must sacrifice for the benefit of the muslim world by remaining the oppressed people.

Let us all admit it. The Palestinian people need to remain oppressed for the better good of the muslim world.

But of course, let's not damper our spirits..... Death to Israel!!! Death to America!!

About Israel's war on Hamas

Once again, the Middle East issue has started another episode of war and tragedy. Once again, this angers the muslims world. The muslims, without doubt, becomes angry only when the Palestinians started to get bombed. Once again, they missed the fact that for the past week, Hamas has been launching rockets across the Gaza Strip into Israel.

Let's face it. It's getting routine and it's old news. What would you expect from Israel when you start launching rockets into their land? You expect them to do nothing? Pack their bags and leave the region?

Okay, okay, they are the oppressor and the Palestinians were the oppressed. Thus, the oppressed people have the right to lob rockets over and the oppressor cannot retaliate. Or at least disporportionately.

What's the real truth in this? What was Hamas' primary military objective?

It's the economy, stupid.

The primary economic resource for the Palestinians, or their entire GDP, is aid. Money from all around the world will pour into Palestinian hands for their sufferrings. Thus, to continue receiving aid, the Palestinian must demonstrate that they remain the oppressed people.

Considering that the global recession is looming, their show started early for Year 2009. Better receive money now than later.

The modus operandi is simple.

Step 1: Launch a couple of hundreds of rockets into Israel.

Step 2: Receive military retaliation from Israel.

Step 3: Show to the world some crying faces and dead bodies. Babies preferable.

Step 4: Receive aid.

Step 5: Buy more weapons and repeat Step 1.

As for the Arab nations, this is good news. Of course, you must come forward to condemn Israel for their brutality. But quickly, take long positions in crude oil prices and increase your revenue. Problems in Middle East are always good news for oil revenue. That's why, we should never solve the Palestinian issue.

For some of you who would like to donate money to the Palestinians, I suggest that you initiate an annuity plan. That way, your donation money will be regular to support the sufferings of the Palestinians for life. Don't worry. Your money to Hamas will be used wisely.

1,500 rally to defend Malay rights, ISA

Malaysia prides herself to be a country with multiple races and religions. A multicultural melting pot in Asia. However, she may be the only country where the majority race, Malays, finds themselves constanly fighthing and defending their rights from being "taken away" by the minority races. For the rest of the world, the oppossite is always true. The minority races always have to do the fighting. That speak volumes for the Malay as a race.

Compared to other countries, Malaysia can be considered to have succeeded in having her citizens living "peacefully" and "harmoniously", albiet under constant reminders that things should not be taken granted.

Racism, without doubt, exists in every society. However, in contemporary Human Conscience, racism is a bad thing and should be actively countered. Anti-discriminatory actions are taken to ensure that the basic human rights of all persons are protected. That no person should be discriminated based on the skin colour, faith, gender and political views.

However, it would be immensely shallow to believe that people today discriminate another simple based on racial divides and skin colour. It goes deeper than that. Each race in Malaysia has its own unique attributes and value systems which are the roots for such racial discrimination to begin with.

Allow me to share one narrow perspective, for the interest of brevity. Take the job market, for example.

The average Malay couple produces an average of 4.2 children. Having a lower disposable income and a more relaxed attitude towards education, each child grows up without having accumulated necessary knowledge and skills to be attractively employable. The person would likely be able to master one language, Malay, which is unfortunately, not the lingua france for international trade and commerce. In short, Malay kids are groomed to be future office boys, toll collectors, and factory workers.

The average Chinese couple produces 1.5 children. Each child has a timetable that rivals the Prime Minister with additional tuition on Sunday evening. The person is required to master three languages, kung-fu, ballet and play the piano. The child would have attained knowledge and skills that are marketable and employable in Malaysia as well as other countries such as Singapore, London and Shanghai. Chinese kids are groomed to be future doctors, lawyers, and scientists.

Thus, the gap can only widen.

To state that the Chinese couple would have an unfair advantage over the Malay couple is not entirely fair. I have seen a Chinese widow raising her children to become doctors and engineers while working as a seamstress. I have also seen a wealthly Malay child that doesn't seem promising despite returning from UK with a degree.

Speaking from a foreigner's point of view. My company would readily employ a Chinese over a Malay. Not that my company seeks to practice racial discrimination. It merely needs to be responsible to its shareholders to make the best economic decisions. I am of course, making very generalised statements which undermines the fact that we do have very valuable Malay workers under our employ.

Sometimes, we discriminate others. Mostly, we disriminate ourselves.

Hudud laws - Acts of war : Malaysiakini

It is without doubt that the issue of hudud was raised as part of BN's political ploy to bring back the Free People under its fold. It will work.

The Political Tsunami on March 8 made a drastic shift from BN to Opposition in popular votes. However, it may be made known that PAS's silence on the hudud laws played a significant part as many Free People would rather be under the yolk of a corrupt government than one under the Islamic rule with hudud applications.

Why, you may ask. The answer is simple - hudud laws are acts of war against the Free People.

Despite what PAS claims - that "hudud laws are applicable to muslims only" rings very hollow past the numerous and recurring events affecting the Free People everywhere. The Cartoon War that erupted after a caricature of their prophet was drawn in Denmark displayed the muslims' inclusion of Free People to be subjugated to the same charge of blasphemy. Don't be fooled. The Free People will be subjugated under hudud laws.

It is naive and inaccurate to state that the Free People misunderstands Islam and hudud laws. On the contrary, the Free People are too aware of the evils that hudud laws offer.

The Free People will reject any set of laws that cannot be questioned and modified. Laws that are deemed already perfect and carved in 7th century stone must be declined. The laws of the land need to change with the evolution of the Human Conscience. For example, child marriages were common in the past but our penal code mandates statutory rape for having sex with girls below the age of 16. Laws need to evolve with the evolving values of society for human advancement. We speak not only on behalf of the Free People but also to enlightened muslims who cannot speak out without being targeted.

Hudud laws call for corporal punishments which includes cutting of limbs and stoning to deaths.

Some laws may be considered to be more humane than the current system. Highway robbery, for example. Currently in Malaysia, armed robbers tend to be shot to death on site. With hudud laws, losing a limb seems to be more humane.

However, to punish an adultress to death by stoning is not acceptable. This "crime" is too specific and does not cover paedophilia, incest, and rape. Too many muslims girls have been stoned to death after reporting that they have been raped. But, why is that?

Why hudud laws do not include other sexual crimes? Why not law on paedophilia?

Most importantly, death sentences against apostates and blasphemers are the most dangerous weapons against the Free People. With the slightest accusation, without proper evidence, the Free People can be easy targets for killing.

"Blasphemy in Islam constitutes speaking ill of God, of Muhammad, of any other prophet mentioned in the Qur'an, and of any the Biblical prophets (Jesus, Moses, Abraham, etc). The Qu'ran also implies that it is blasphemy to claim that Jesus Christ (the son of Mary) is the son of God. In short, all Christians are guilty under hudud laws for blasphemy. This explains the constant attack against churches in most muslim dominated countries. Source: wikipedia

In short, the hudud laws are acts of war against the Free People.

Must Learn Classical Arabic

I have the privilege to exchange some comments with Tulang Besi.

Allow me to share my experience with a different presentation. Tulang Besi has claimed that I have vivid imaginations and a drunk. Therefore, here goes:

FP = Free Person
MD = Muslim Debater.
MS = Muslim supporter

The challenge to debate

MD : I challenge anyone to debate with me. I claimed that there is no elephant in my backyard.

FP was nearby, walked closer and took a peek at MD's backyard and saw an elephant.

FP : What the heck are you talking about? There is an elephant.

MD : You damn liar. There is no elephant.

MS : kahkahkah FP is a liar kahkahkah

FP : Helloo !!!. I can see the elephant.

MD : What elephant?

FP : There-lah, standing at that corner - currently shitting.

MD : That one? We don't call it elephant. We have a special term in Classical Arabic. You know Classical Arabic or not? If don't, then shut up.

MS : kahkahkah FP doesn't know arabic and what to show off kahkahkah.

FP : What the? You claim that there is no elephant.

MD : That's true.

FP : That animal is an elephant. And it is at your backyard.

MD : You damn liar. You blasphemer. Why you so anti-Islam?

MS: kahkahkah FP is anti-Islam kahkahkah

FP : We call that animal an elephant and you have it there at your backyard.

MD : Why are you targeting me? You know, the Christians and Jews also have elephants at their backyard. Here, I can show you proof that some other ancient civilizations have elephants at their backyards. Why are you such an Islamphobia? Why such a hate speech?

FB : Look. You claimed that there is no elephant at YOUR backyard. I am not anti-Islam. Just because, of lately, there are a lot of muslims that claim that they never have elephants at their backyard.

MD : That's true. We are the best of mankind.

FP : Hello. In fact, I caught another person down the road claiming what you did and he HAS an elephant at his backyard. IT came out in the newspaper.

MD : That's Western bias and Jewish conspiracy. Always targeting muslims only. Other people also have elephants.

MS: kahkahkah FP may be a Jewish agent trying to smear the name of Islam kahkahkah.

FP : Yes, we admit. But you said no muslims have ....

MD : Those people are not the true muslims. True muslims do not have elephants at their backyards. We are oppressed people. Death to America! Death to Israel!

FP : The one in the newspaper?

MD: He doesn't understand Classical Arabic. He only knows Modern Arabic. And you, infidel, don't talk about elephant if you do not know arabic.

FP : What makes you the authority that that muslim is not a real muslim?

MD : Because real muslims do not have elephants at their backyards. If that person has an elephant at the backyard, he is not a true muslim. Please read our holy book.

FP : In fact, I have read your holy book. It says here that muslims are encouraged to have elephants at their backyards.

MD : Where?

FP : Here, at this aya: "Keep all elephants at your backyard

MD : You idiot. That's an English translation. We only respect Classical Arabic. It actually means "Keep those that are elephants" and NOT "Keep all elephants". You cannot just read. You must have proper guidance on translation.

FP : What is the difference between "keep all" and "keep those"? That's means can keep elephants -lah.

MD : I have already proven you as a damn liar. Unless you now Classical Arabic, I shall not debate with you.

FP: You ask me to read.

MD : Don't simply read. You don't qualify. Please ask us for the correct translation. Only we have the correct translation.

FP : But you challenge anyone to debate.

MD : You are not qualified. You are a drunk and an infidel. Come to me only if you know Classical Arabic.

MS : kahkahkah MD is the winner kahkahkah FP is anti-Islam.

As you can see, I lost the debate.

You Malaysians should not let your children learn English!!

Of late, both Malay and Chinese chauvinist leaders are calling for the teaching of Maths and Science to be reverted to their mother-tongues.

What a relief. I support such move. I have three young children and I was worried about their academic development. They speak English fluently as well as Mandarin and Malay, since we are very insistence on them learning both the language of my wife and the language of the land respectively. I reckon that them getting a meaningful employment in the future will be tough since Asia is experience a baby boomer of sort.

It is without doubt that being fluent in English is a necessity. Whether you like it or not, English is the present lingua franca. Knowledge is power and it is firstly written in English. Mostly, anyway.

I would want my children to excel in as many languages as possible. If the Dutch and Swiss can do it, so can my children.

Thus, it is good news if the Malaysian government revert to vernacular languages. This would ensure that my children would have an advantage over other children. It would be easy to excel and seek employment.

In my recent visits to Cambodia and Vietnam, I saw English classes mushrooming everywhere. They are working hard and are eager to learn the language. Getting jobs in multinational companies pay very well. Better than the rest.

So, if many Malaysian parents discourage their children from learning English, all the better. Teach your children that your race is the best amongst mankind. That your language is the most beautiful. Teach them that to learn English is to learn the language of a past-colonial master. Whatever it is, don't teach them English !!!

Go ahead. Do it for the sake of my children's future. Thanks in advance.

Let the nude protest begins

Malaysiakini reported this evening on the plight of the Reformis movement call to hold the opposition leader to be responsible for the Selangor government's alleged failure in addressing the plight of the poor.

Wow, Pakatan Rakyat must have done a terrible job. Only by inheriting the state for about 9 months, they must have caused an increasing number of the poor people. The "New Poor" or "Orang Miskin Baru" (OMB), defined as people who have become poorer resulting from the rule of Pakatan Rakyat, must have triggered the Reformis' attention and care.

I believe that the existing poor people in Selangor, since March 2008, cannot blame Pakatan Rakyat since they were already screwed under the rule of Barisan. If they were actually screwed, that is.

Now, this Reformis wants to hold a nude protest? You know what I would do? I would allow them to protest. Call for an international media presence. Call Playboy. Call some gay magazines. I mean, pictures of nude men. Hopefully, some women too :) Major newspapers could feature a centerfold. How about a calendar? Year-end is coming.

Look, times are getting worse. We need to attract more tourists. They need more than just multi-lingual road signs. They need action. Now, what other action would be better than a group of people taking their clothes off for a cause they firmly believe in? They are fighting for the rights of the OMB. How these people became OMB? I'm not too sure. Perhaps, didn't get contracts from the present government. I'm not to sure. Just speculating.

If the Reformis movement wants to protest nude, let them do it. Take pictures. Take videos. Post it at Youtube. Let CNN make a feature story. Send the videos to gay websites. Make sure camera got super zoom. Make full coverage.

You know what? We could also invite PETA. These people have also made nude protests the "in vogue". Oh, I enjoy their protests. Body paintings are nice to look at. Meeooow!!

Heck, let's organise a national nude protests where any other party who wants to join can also do so. I mean, they have gay parades in the West. We should have our Reformis parade here.

Source:

Reports by Malaysiakini - Previously, Reformis had declared a 'nude war' against Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim and had threatened to strip naked and "stalk" him.

According to Ramlan, the opposition alliance had failed to fulfill the promises in its March 8 election manifesto.

"Anwar must be responsible for what Khalid has done in oppressing the people of Selangor," he said, but declined to reveal when the 'war' would be launched.

As long as these promises were not fulfilled, the Reformis president stressed that the ‘nude war’ would continue.

Asked why he chose this method of putting his grouses across instead of using the party channels, Roslan said: "These people cannot be coaxed, cannot be pleaded with and cannot discuss with."

"This is the method of gangsters, so we had to become bigger gangsters, only then would they accept. Only when we threatened to strip naked, he (the menteri besar) wants to resolve the problems," he added.

Let there be unity where there is diversity.

Unity is a good word. Malaysians have often strive to apply this concept of "unity" because they believe that it is good to have it. Politicians often make rally calls for unity. The idea of unity is that members of this unity becomes stronger than they would be if they are disunite. The concept of unity shares the same as being uniform in ideals, words and actions. To be one. To join a union. To combine forces towards meeting a common goal.

However, history has shown not enduring unities.

On the other hand, Malaysia has always been sold to the world as a multi-racial or multi-cultural melting pot. The Truly Asia tagline is often used to describe Malaysia. We celebrate diversity as we proudly showcase our different manifestations of religious practices, backgrounds, culture, etc.

However, history has shown few successes in diversity.

The solution is to unite in our support for diversity. We should be proud of diversity in our cultural heritages. We should unite in achieving economic goals. We should celebrate religious diversity and be united for the freedom of her people.

What I shall do is to strive to cause chaos for the sake of unity, and peace for the sake of diversity.
